Olympic Line ridership

The Olympic Line is a demonstration project for the Downtown Streetcar, and was a tremendous success as it showcased modern streetcar technology and provided reliable, sustainable transportation to over 550,000 passengers in 60 days of operation. Averaging 18, 600 passengers per day at games time and 9, 200 over 60-days. The streetcar demonstration became an integral part of the transit network between January 21 and March 21, 2010.

Olympic Line ridership summary

Olympic Line ridership data was collected by the City of Vancouver's Host City Team and the Olympic Line project team. Passenger boardings at both stations as well as bicycles, wheelchairs and strollers were counted.
