Road Access Restored to West Side of Stanley Park, Friday, January 12 at 6:00 pm

January 12, 2007 (No. 5) - The Park Board is reporting that Park Drive west of Pipeline Road in Stanley Park, including the southbound entrance to the park from the Causeway, has reopened as of 6:00 PM, Friday, January 12 following the park's closure on January 9th due to a severe windstorm. North Lagoon Drive remains closed.

Sequoia Grill and Prospect Point Café and Gift Shop will reopen as of tomorrow, Saturday, January 13th. All other park facilities including the Aquarium that had been closed by the storm reopened yesterday.

All forest trails in the park remain closed to the public. The public are reminded for their own safety to respect barricades and to stay out of forested areas.
