Most Stanley Park Forest Trails East of the Causeway Now Open to the Public

February 16, 2007 (No. 13) - Two months after the devastating storm that swept through Stanley Park, staff have now completed clearing most of the forest trails east of the Causeway making them once again accessible to the public. Temporary re-closures may occur to remove adjacent trail debris. The public is asked to respect barricades that they may encounter while visiting the park.

Several trails will remain closed indefinitely because they are located in "blowdown" areas that will require more extensive remedial work. They are: Wren, Mallard, North Creek Path and Brockton Point Trails.
