The Library
The VanDusen Library collection complements the living resources of the Garden. It is the largest botanical and horticultural library with free public access in the province. Over 5,000 books, periodicals and other materials including seed catalogues are available for research and general information.
Hours
Tuesday to Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday evenings 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
July & August
Tuesday to Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Loans
Borrowing privileges extend to VanDusen members (two books for two weeks at a time from the circulating collection of 1300 books).
