Membership categories & fees

Individual Membership

Fee: 1 year – $45 / 2 years – $80

Qualification: none

Privileges and Benefits:

  • Photo membership card
  • Free admission to VanDusen Botanical Garden when open to the general public except for some special events
  • Discount on admission to select special events
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Quarterly newsletter
  • Reduced fee for some VanDusen courses, lectures and programs
  • Discount promotions from participating businesses

Premium Membership (only available to new or renewing Members)

Fee: 1 year – $112 / 2 years – n/a

Qualification: age 19 or over

Privileges and Benefits: Same as for an Individual Member, and in addition you are entitled to have one accompanying guest per day admitted free to VanDusen Botanical Garden to the extent permitted by the Vancouver Park Board.

Couple/Dual Membership

Fee: 1 year – $67 / 2 years – $120

Qualification: Must both reside at the same address.

Privileges and Benefits:  For each, the same benefits apply as for an Individual Member, except that Couple/Dual Members are entitled to only one copy of the quarterly newsletter and under the bylaws notice to either is notice to both.

Single Adult Family Membership

Fee: 1 year – $50 / 2 years – $90

Qualification: age 19 or over

Privileges and Benefits:Same as for an Individual Member, and in addition entitled to have accompanying children and grandchildren, while under age 19, admitted free to VanDusen Botanical Garden to the extent permitted by the Vancouver Park Board.

Couple/Dual Family Membership

Fee: 1 year – $73 / 2 years – $130

Qualification: Must both be age 19 or over and must both reside at the same address

Privileges and Benefits:Same as for an Individual Member.

Senior Membership

Fee: 1 year – $34 / 2 years – $60

Qualification:age 65 or over

Privileges and Benefits: Same as for an Individual Member.

Senior Couple/Dual Membership

Fee: 1 year – $62 / 2 year $110

Qualification: Must both be age 65 or over and must both reside at the same address.

Privileges and Benefits: Same as for Couple/Dual Members.

Student Membership

Fee: 1 year – $34 / 2 years – $60

Qualification: Must produce current Student I.D. as confirmation of having registered status at a post secondary institution.

Privileges and Benefits: Same as for an Individual Member.
