The Floral Hall

A spacious room situated in our beautiful garden setting, able to accommodate up to 120 people for a seated, reception style event or 150 people for a lecture style event. This is a lovely location for business meetings, conferences, seminars, memorials, wedding receptions, banquets, Christmas parties or for special office functions.

Capacity: 120 seated or 150 lecture style
Rates including GST (January-June 2010):

$666.00 day or evening
$1,056.00 day and evening (wedding receptions, banquets)

Rates including HST (July-December 2010):

$710.00 day or evening
$1,126.00 day and evening (wedding receptions, banquets)

The Cedar Room

A conveniently located, moderate sized room capable of accommodating 50 people for a lecture style presentation or 20 people around workshop tables.

Capacity: 50 lecture style or 20 workshop style
Rates including GST (January-June 2010):

$227.00 day or evening
$357.00 day and evening

Rates including HST (July-December 2010):

$242.00 day or evening
$381.00 day and evening

Day rental for both rooms is from 8 am to 5 pm. Evening rental is from 5 pm to Midnight.

Site Services

Coffee urns, slide & overhead projector, TV & VCR & DVD sysem are available at no extra charge. The use of a servery-style kitchen, a sound system, podium & microphone, is also included with the Floral Hall rental. Renters are able to make their own catering and liquor license arrangements. Shaughnessy Restaurant and the VanDusen Garden Shop are available for your convenience. Ample free parking, wheelchair accessibility and direct access to this unique garden setting make the Floral Hall or the Cedar Room an ideal location for your event.

Garden Visits

Group rates garden admissions are available for purchase when renting either the Floral Hall or the Cedar Room.
