Two school gyms open for Get Up & Go activities this fall

October 1, 2008 - Get Up & Go! is a physical activity partnership between selected Vancouver schools and community centres, to help keep you active despite the weather. Two secondary schools (King George and Windermere) are open Saturdays for a range of activity programs.

Planned by Park Board staff at West End and Renfrew Park Community Centres, programs are designed for all ages. Activities range from badminton, volleyball, basketball, table tennis and wheelchair rugby. Contact the community centre for a complete list. Some activities are free and available on a drop-in basis while others charge a drop-in or program fee.
