Stanley Park Seawall Closed for Cliff Scaling

(Siwash Rock to Lions Gate Bridge, Open after 5:00 p.m. and Weekends)

April 2, 2002 - The Stanley Park Seawall will be closed for annual cliff scaling weekdays from April 2 through April 12, 2002 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The closure affects the popular seawall just west of Siwash Rock to just east of the Lions Gate Bridge. The closure gates will be re-opened after the day's work at 5:00 p.m. and be open completely on weekends to allow use of this most popular Vancouver recreational facility.
