Stanley Park Seawall to Reopen

December 5, 2002 - The Stanley Park Seawall will reopen today at 4:00 p.m. Closed due to a rock slide on November 21st, the popular recreational pathway has been cleared and stabilized of loose rock from the above cliffs. A special contractor was employed to undertake the work.

The annual rock scaling of the Stanley Park cliffs will take place during Spring 2003.

The Stanley Park Seawall is one of the most popular recreational facilities in Vancouver serving walkers, joggers, cyclists and rollerbladers.
