"Tropical Kick-off to Summer" at Kitsilano PoolMay 13, 2003 (No. 21) - A "Hawaiian themed" special event is being planned by the Vancouver Park Board in partnership with students of BCIT to celebrate the beginning of summer at this popular seaside pool. The event will include games, refreshments, prizes and entertainment. The public is advised to get there early, because admission is FREE from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m.
