Free Skating into the Holiday SeasonGrab a friend, lace up the blades and catch the Winter Olympic spirit during special free skating sessions! December 5, 2003 (No. 60) - As part of the Olympic Youth Legacy Program for Sports and the Arts, the Vancouver Park Board and City Council will sponsor designated times for free skating and free skate rentals at Vancouver's eight ice rinks over the school holidays. In addition, on Sunday December 21st, free skating events at Trout Lake, Kerrisdale and West End Community Centre rinks will be expanded to include special workshops and performances by a diverse number of artists and musicians.Special Kick Off EventSkate With the Mayor
