Spin, Rinse and Dry!

February 9, 2004 - The hottest new trend in virtual bike riding is motivational spinning and it's offered in one of Vancouver's most popular fitness centres. Trout Lake Community Centre, located on beautiful John Hendry Park at Victoria Drive and 15th Avenue, has a full schedule of stationary bike classes where an instructor takes participants on a virtual road trip where encouragement is the key word. Open to all age groups but especially popular with runners and tri-athletes in training.

Also included in this excellent program is a free session in the whirlpool and sauna taking fitness trainees through an entire cycle of physical activity.

Drop-in cost is $6.40 per session but slightly less if participants register for five classes.

A wide variety of specialty programs are available through all Vancouver Park Board community centres. Check out the centre nearest you or search our ProgramFinder (On Line Recreation Guide) for a comprehensive list of activities.
