Park Board Seeks Input from Residents For 2007 Operating Budget

The Dollars & Sense Survey Available Online or at Community Centres

October 18, 2006 (No. 74) - The Park Board is inviting all city residents to review the breadth of current recreation and park services and to share ideas on the upcoming operating budget for 2007. A Dollars & Sense information package and survey are now available at Vancouver Community Centres and online at the Park Board web site at www.vancouverparks.ca

It has been a priority of the Park Board to include residents in the budget building process. We want to know what residents value most about parks and recreation services and what improvements they would like to see. Ideas and feedback from the surveys will be considered in building the parks and recreation budget for the coming year.

Residents can share their ideas on the 2007 Park Board budget until November 30, 2006 .
