Public Invited to Open House on Improvements to Victoria Park

October 19, 2006 (No. 75) - Improvements to Victoria Park, located at the corner of Victoria Drive and Kitchener Street, are scheduled for 2007. The Park Board has developed conceptual designs based on community input from the first open house held in July. Neighbours and other interested members of the public are invited to join staff to discuss the proposed designs and provide feedback.

The open house is scheduled for:

Wednesday, October 25, 2006
6:30pm to 8:30pm
Britannia Community Services Centre
1661 Napier Street

Park design options include:

• Renovated children's play area;
• New bocce courts;
• Regraded open grass area;
• Additional pathways; and
• Entrance structures and plantings.
