Open House Trout Lake Community Centre RenewalSeptember 4, 2009 (No. 21) - The public is invited to meet with Park Board staff and project architects and view plans for the new Trout Lake Community Centre. Tuesday, September 15, 2009 The first phase of the Trout Lake redevelopment was the construction of the new ice rink, which is now complete and will be used as an official practice venue for figure skating during the 2010 Winter Games. The second phase will involve the construction of a new community centre that will replace the existing structure which was built in 1964. Funding for Trout Lake Community Centre was approved as part of the 2009-2011 Capital Plan.
