Donor Tours

On November 30, 2007, to mark the one year anniversary of the storm, the Park Board invited major donors to participate in a number of guided tours that showcased the progress made over the past year towards restoring the park.

Invited guests began their tour with light refreshments at the Prospect Point Café and had the opportunity to meet with staff and other donors and view plans for the realignment of Park Drive at Prospect Point.

The guided tours focused on the cleanup work in the major blowdown area near Prospect Point and the initiatives undertaken to protect wildlife habitat and the ecology of the forest.
