Grass Fields

The Park Board has 141 grass fields of various grades in its inventory that are home to youth, adult and coed leagues, as well as individual clubs and teams.

Grass is weather sensitive, requires rest periods (no play) and substantial field maintenance to maintain quality. They are also generally not lit for evening use and should never be played when posted as closed, during heavy rain or when water saturated from a previous rainfall, if there is standing water (anywhere) or large muddy areas, contains frost or frozen areas, or when an element exists which could jeopardize the safety of participants.

You can view the schedules and request a reservation for simple bookings. A simple booking is a reservation for one field with a consistent time and day. Reservations will be looked at by Park Board staff and approved or denied based availability. The schedule will tell you what is already booked. Note that fields are sometimes unavailable due to maintenance or other situations.
