Pan Tool

Move the map by grabbing and dragging.

Pan

The Pan tool lets you move the map up, down, left or right to display areas that were outside of your view. The toolbox buttons Select, Zoom In, Zoom Out and Pan are "sticky" buttons. VanMap will stay in Pan mode until you change to another sticky button. Note: While you are using Pan, Map Tips will not display.

1. Click the Pan button in the toolbox, or right-click on the map and choose Pan from the right-click menu.
2. Move the mouse pointer onto the map (the pointer changes from an arrow to an open hand).
3. Left-click on the map (the pointer changes to a fist) and drag the map up, down, left, right, or diagonally, to change the view. The map will be redrawn when you release the mouse button.
