Definition:

Property lines separate private property from street and lane rights of way and generally run parallel to streets and lanes. Along with lot lines, they define individual titled pieces of land (sometimes referred to as the cadastral fabric). In many parts of the City, a standard lot measures 33 feet by 120 feet; in such a case the 33 foot side is the property line.
