Definition:
Distribution Mains are all active water mains less than or equal to 300mm in diameter. Distribution Mains serve to move water from the Transmission water network to the individual water services that feed the City's water customers (e.g. residential and commercial properties). The VanMap label for Distribution Mains displays the Main Diameter in millimetres, the Main Material, the Main Lining, the Main Owner, and the Year the Main was installed.
