Interpolated from terrain elevation data extracted from aerial photographs taken on July 31, 2004 which can be viewed on the ‘Foreshore Orthophotos 2004’ layer. Contours were also produced for all the major beaches in Vancouver.

Contours: The + 2.0 m contour represents ‘higher high water for large tides’.
