Definition:

Poster cylinders are metal cylinders wrapped around some street light poles in the City. They are intended to allow the public to place posters on public property and provide a larger surface area on the pole for this purpose. Poster cylinders are the only locations that posters can legally be placed on public property. The locations of these are identified in VanMap for public convenience. Posters on these poles are removed weekly by City crews.
