A New Community Centre at 1 KingswayA new 30,750 square foot Mount Pleasant Community Centre will meet the service demands of a growing community and will be more centrally located at 1 Kingsway, within the area it serves.The current community centre at 16th Avenue and Ontario Street has served the Mount Pleasant community for over 35 years. Over the past decade the centre’s cramped quarters, service limitations and need for seismic upgrading have made it clear that a new facility was needed. The new facility will incorporate the latest technological innovations and will offer a wider range of leisure activities and services for all ages and interests.
