In September 2004, City Council chose Westbank Projects/Peterson Investment Group (Henriquez Partners, architects) as the developer for the Woodward's project.

Design highlights include restoration of the 1903-1908 heritage portion that will be the new location of community non-profit space, a childcare centre and urban park and plaza areas that will be accessible to the public. The flatiron building for market rate condos was inspired by the scale and construction methods of the turn-of-the-century Dominion Building at Cambie and Hastings.

For more details, read the Westbank project development report and meet the design team.
