Field Review

A building permit application for small jobs requiring little or no additional upgrading may be streamed through the field review process. Whether an application can proceed by field review is determined by the Enquiry centre. After initial application the applicant will meet with the Building Inspector on site with the plans to review proposal. The DBI determines any additional conditions and then issues the permit. This process takes on average about 2 weeks assuming a complete application.
