Gas installation code references for enforcement are:

• Gas-Fitting By-law #3507
• CAN/CSA B149.1
• The Province of British Columbia Safety Standards Act
• The Province of British Columbia Gas Safety Regulation
• The Province of British Columbia Safety Standards General Regulations
• BC Safety Authority Gas Directives and Bulletins

A Gas Notification of Completion Certificate (24kb) is required to be completed by the gas-fitter after every regulated gas work.

After completing the Gas Completion Certificate either:

• Fax: 604.873.7100
• Leave on-site during final gas inspection call
• Submit in person at City Hall Inspections counter
