Pedicab

If you will be operating a three-wheeled vehicle propelled solely by foot power or motor assist, you will need to obtain a vehicles for hire licence for a pedicab operator. You will be required to complete and submit a Vehicles for Hire Application Form (137kb) with payment of the appropriate fee of $159.00 per vehicle. While operating a pedicab, you must carry your current picture identification displaying your full name, current address and date of birth at all times.

If you will be driving a pedicab leased from a licensed Pedicab company, you will need to obtain a vehicles for hire licence for a pedicab lessee. You will not be required to complete an application form but will be required to provide current picture identification displaying your full name, current address and date of birth. The fee is $11.00.
