Carnegie Community Centre Association

The partnership with the Carnegie Community Centre Association (C.C.C.A.) with its 15 member Volunteer Board of Directors, (primarily local residents) ensures that community needs and preferences are taken into consideration when decisions are made regarding all matters relevant to the Centre. The Association advises the Director and raises funds for programs of benefit to the community.

Members can get involved by attending Committee and Board Meetings. Here is the general schedule of those meetings. They are subject to change. Set dates can be found on the back of the Carnegie Program Guide (PDF available at the bottom of the home page) and a PDF will be made available at the bottom of this page at the beginning of each month after the C.C.C.A. Board Meeting.

Publications ~ 1st Friday of the Month the day after the Board Mtg (1 pm Assoc.)

Volunteer ~ Wednesday 2 weeks before cheque issue (1pm Classroom II)

Oppeheimer Park ~ 2nd Thursday of the Month ( 3:30 pm at Park)

Education / Library ~ Wednesday before Cheque day (3 pm Classroom II)

Seniors ~ 3rd Thursday of the Month (2pm Theatre)

Community Relations ~  Thursday before Board Mtg (4 pm Assoc. office)

Program ~ Tuesday before the Board Meeting (4 pm Association Office)

Finance ~ Wednesday before Board Meeting (4 pm Association Office)

Bylaw ~ Meets on an as needed, not monthly, basis.

Board of Directors ~ Meets on first Thursday of each month to review motions brought forward by the Committees.
