Second Project from 10 Year Action Plan - 3400 Block Cornett Road
In the summer of 2007, a second enhancement project was completed along the 3400 of Cornett Road (as recommended in the Still Creek Enhancement Plan adopted by Council in 2002). View the 2007 report to Council

The Location

The design of this project required the removal of 2 abandoned rail bridges along this portion of the creek, the replacement of invasive species with native species and the installation of fish habitat features.

Construction was completed during the fisheries window (August) 2007. The project was funded by the City of Vancouver (Still Creek/Greenway Enhancement Fund) and Metro Vancouver (formerly the GVRD). The project was designed by Jacques Whitford-Axys Ltd. and construction services were provided by Mission Contracting.
