Partnership Programs

Cultural Services enters into partnership opportunities in order to leverage additional resources for the arts and cultural community. Currently, Cultural Services is engaged in two such programs.

Capacity Building

The Centre for Non Profit Management (in Victoria) and the BC Centre for Not for Profit Sustainability (in Vancouver) have joined together to form the BC Centre for Non Profit Management and Sustainability.

Previously, the Centre administered arts capacity building programs on behalf of the City of Vancouver for the arts and cultural community including the NEXT Generation Leadership program. Since the amalgamation, it will no longer be taking applications to these programs. If you received a capacity grant after September 2009 and you want to submit your project evaluation report, please download the form, complete it, and send by email only to: grants@cnpms.ca.

The Centre currently offers the following programs:

    • The Voluntary Sector Knowledge Network
    • Aboriginal Capacity Grants program
    • Helping the Helper Workshops
