Cancellation

If you have already made a business licence application but would like to cancel it, you will be required to notify us in person or make a written request and submit it to us by fax, mail or email. The following information must be included in your request: licence year, licence number, account number, business name, business owner name, business address, contact name, telephone number and the reason for cancellation.

If you have already made a payment for your business licence application but your licence has not yet been issued, you may apply for a refund. You will be required to complete and submit a Refund Request Form PDF (41kb). The non-refundable portion of the business licence fee as per Schedule A of the Licence By-Law No. 4450 PDF (291kb) is $75. Refund cheques will be mailed out and may take approximately 4 weeks to process.
