Fees
Fees for municipal decals are set out in Schedule A of the Vehicle Licensing By-Law No. 4021 
(52kb) and fees for Commerical Vehicle Permits (Plates) are set out in Section 21.6 of the Street and Traffic By-law No. 2849 (1.44mb). All municipal decals and commercial vehicle permits (plates) will expire annually on December 31st of each year and fees will NOT be pro-rated.
Municipal Decals
The fee for a municipal decal ranges from $25 to $40, depending on the weight of the vehicle (GVW) and can be obtained from your vehicle registration.

Commercial Vehicle Permit (Plate)
The fee for a commercial vehicle permit/plate is $200.00 + HST.
Payment can be made:
- In person at the Licence Office, 2nd Floor East Wing, 453 West 12th Avenue between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Accepted methods of payment: cash, cheque or money order (made payable to the City of Vancouver), debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).
