Mount Pleasant Community Planning Program

Focus Groups

Focus Groups are designed to meet the diverse, ethno-cultural, linguistic needs of residents in public consultation process of the Mount Pleasant Community Planning Program.

These group meetings are often planned together with different social service agencies including neighbourhood houses; faith organizations; and frontline multicultural workers. The input of the focus groups are brought forward to the English speaking workshops for the shopping areas and residential areas and in which all gathered ideas of the community are further discussed to refine options. Initial consultation focus groups were held in the spring of 2007. Focus group ideas also contributed to the Mount Pleasant Community Action Agenda (Downloadable PDFPDF, 63KB).

For more information about the focus groups, please contact Angela Ko at angela.ko@vancouver.ca or 604.871.6598.
