Mount Pleasant Community Planning ProgramIntercultural Leaders’ (ICL) GroupThe intercultural leaders’ group is made up by diverse residents and community volunteers, frontline bi-lingual and multicultural workers who work between different grassroots cultural groups. Five intercultural leaders’ workshops and three action planning meetings were held in 2009 and 2010. Focus of these meetings was about the quality of inclusive community & leadership in Mount Pleasant; and planning of community actions which are supported by the Mount Pleasant Social Coordinating Group. It is the goal of this group to work closely with the Social Coordinating Group in contributing their intercultural experience and perspective on the social component of the Mount Pleasant Community Planning Program. The intercultural leaders and some SCG members have started to meet in 2009 and they hope to learn new ways to collaborate in 2010. 2009 – Intercultural Leaders’ Workshop Transcripts
