Free or Fee?

With a desire to engage the widest possible segment of the population, re:CONNECT offers two streams:

Free Stream

This barrier-free entry stream has been set up to encourage entries from citizens with amazing ideas, but not necessarily the usual skill sets applied to a typical urban design ideas competition.

Fee Stream

This stream is more aligned with a traditional design ideas competition and is directed more at the skill sets of the design professionals who often engage in these types of events. While entirely open to everyone that wishes to enter, this stream of the competition will place a greater emphasis on the quality and ability of the illustrations to inspire while also explaining the built realities of the ideas being presented. Winners selected from the fee stream will be eligible for cash prizes.
