Rezoning Application - 10 Terry Fox Way (Area 5B West), also known as 47 Nelson Street
The application proposes a development consisting of two market apartment towers of 28 and 30 storeys (85.4 m and 83.7 m) which include podiums of 2 and 5 storeys and a pedestrian plaza at the corner of Nelson Street and Pacific Boulevard. A total of 543 dwelling units is proposed.
The two residential towers would be linked with three bridge structures, also containing apartments, and have ground-floor retail/commercial uses. The total floor area proposed is 38 843 metres squared (418,116 sq. ft.) consisting of 36,895 metres squared (397,147 sq. ft.) of residential and 1 948 metres squared (20,969 sq. ft.) of commercial.
This application was heard at a series of Public Hearings between February and March 2011, and was referred back to staff for further work with the applicant on a public amenity package.
