Future Employment Growth
According to Metro Vancouver’s Regional Growth Strategy, “Metro Vancouver 2040: Shaping our Future”, Vancouver will continue to be the pre-eminent job centre in the region to 2041. Accommodating the city’s growth projection for jobs is dependent on land use planning initiatives like the Metropolitan Core Jobs and Economy Plan to ensure there is adequate job space for future job growth.
