Official results of Decision 2004: At-large or Wards plebiscite

Vancouver’s Chief Election Officer Syd Baxter has declared official the following results for the October 16, 2004 plebiscite in Vancouver:

Yes 30,499 (46%)
No 35,813 (54%)
Spoiled 5 (0.01%)
Total 66,317 (100%)

Based on the 293,263 registered voters in the November 16, 2002 civic election,
turnout for the Decision 2004 plebiscite was 22.6 per cent.

These results are unchanged from unofficial results given at 10 p.m. on October 16.
