How to apply

PLEASE NOTE: Applications for various Civic Agencies will be open January 3 to 22, 2012.

1. First, review the list of vacancies. Applications will not be accepted for a vacancy which is not listed; please do not apply if no vacancy is shown. The application form has been turned off for agencies which have no vacancies. Please do NOT fill in an application if the agency you wish to serve on does not appear in the list on the application form.
2. Next, carefully review the description of the civic agencies or committees which interests you before applying. See descriptions of all civic agencies and committees.

3. Go to the online form and submit your application ONLINE; do not print it out and fill it out by hand. (Please submit a separate application form for each agency you wish to apply for.)

You must use the application form to apply. Please be as concise as possible when filling out your application. More recent information should be listed first.

If you are unable to use the online form for any reason, please contact the City Clerk's Office by calling 311 and ask to be transferred.

Please note: Copies of all applications will be made available to Vancouver City Council, civic staff and the applicable civic agency, for the sole purpose of making appointments to civic agencies and committees. Your information is collected under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and any applicable by-laws.
