Civic Agencies and Committees

About volunteering

Mayor and Council, and staff at the City of Vancouver would like to thank all past, present and future members of these various civic agencies and committees for giving so generously of their time. This spirit of involvement helps make Vancouver one of the world's most livable cities, and contributes to the mission of the City, which is to create a great city of communities that cares about its people, environment and the opportunities to live, work and prosper.

Applicants of all ages, genders, neighbourhoods, racial origins, income levels and sexual orientations, and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply, in order to appoint civic agencies and committees representative of the broader community and to address the issues of those communities.
