Where do I vote?

If your name is on the City's Voters List, you will receive a "Where to Vote" card in the mail around the end of October. This card shows your voting division and voting place address.

The City publishes a list and map of voting divisions and voting places for municipal elections in Vancouver. This list and map will be advertised in local newspapers.

You can also view the 2005 voting divisions for the city through VanMap, the City's Web-based map system that pulls together information and data from a variety of sources, and puts it into maps you can view, save or print out.

For individuals or organizations wishing to do in-depth analysis of Vancouver's voting divisions, the following table showing address ranges within voting divisions may be of interest. This information is offered in MS Access table format only. The database contains no information on voters, and no executable programs or technical support is available in relation to the data.

The voting divisions and locations of voting places may change slightly from election to election, due to growth within the city and availability of certain voting places. Click here for a more detailed explanation.

The City's Voters List will close on September 27, 2005. If you move after this date, look at the map of voting divisions to see your new voting place, or call the Vancouver Election Office at 604-873-7681 or email voter.questions@vancouver.ca.
