Key dates
- Candidates must file their nomination packages between September 30 and October 10.
- Advance voting takes place at five locations on November 5, 8, 10 and 12.
- Election day is November 15.

Information for elector organizations
Elector organizations are organizations, whether incorporated or unincorporated, that may have their endorsement of one or more candidates included on a ballot. The requirements for elector organizations are set out in the Vancouver Charter (see especially section 51).

Information for campaign organizers
Section 55 of the Vancouver Charter defines “campaign organizer” as follows:
- an organization, whether incorporated or unincorporated, other than an elector organization, that undertakes, or intends to undertake, an election campaign that
- augments or operates in place of, or
- is intended to augment or operate in place of
- an individual who
- undertakes, or intends to undertake, an election campaign referred to in paragraph (a), other than an election campaign for the individual as a candidate, and
- accepts, or intends to accept, campaign contributions in relation to the campaign from any other individual or any organization, whether incorporated or unincorporated;
