City Holds Series of Workshops
in Victoria-Fraserview/Killarney and Sunset

The City of Vancouver will hold public workshops in April, May and June for residents of Victoria-Fraserview/Killarney and Sunset. These free workshops are the second step in the Community Visions Program, which enables residents to help plan the future of their neighbourhoods.

Residents must pre-register, and may attend any number of the workshops listed below. Unless otherwise noted, workshops are held on weekend afternoons, in the community. When registering, please indicate any child care needs and/or language preferences.

In the following workshops, introductions, presentations and most discussion will be in English, but discussion in small groups will be available in Cantonese, Mandarin and -- in Sunset -- Punjabi.

Ideas from these workshops will be incorporated into a Visions Choices Survey, and delivered to neighbourhood residents next fall. Survey results will form the Community Vision, which will be City Council’s guide to decision-making over the next 20 years.
