City Hall renovations to briefly interrupt some services

City Hall’s East Wing (2675 Yukon Street) will be undergoing renovations over the next several months in order to improve customer services.

The first phase, to be completed in January 2001, will create a consolidated enquiry centre for many of our information and application services, including enhanced telephone services. This requires temporary relocation of staff to the first floor. The following services will therefore be unavailable from 2 p.m. on Friday, December 15 until 12 noon on Monday, December 18:

• zoning enquiries

• enquiries and applications for:

w     development and building permits

w    sign permits

w    trade permits
(electrical, plumbing, gas,  sprinklers)

w     tree permits

w     property address changes.

We appreciate the public’s patience as we make these changes to provide better service.
