Community Centres Close Due to Job Action

As of today, all community centres, ice rinks, indoor and outdoor pools owned and operated by the Vancouver Park Board - as well as any programs operating out of these facilities, including childcare and preschool - are now closed due to civic job action.

In addition, the following City-run facilities are closed:

Golf courses at Fraserview, Langara and McLeery, Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth and Rupert Pitch and Putt Golf Courses.

Bloedel Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park and VanDusen Botanical Garden.

The Children’s Farmyard and Miniature Train in Stanley Park.

Maintenance services (garbage collection, grass cutting) at parks and beaches will be discontinued.

The Heather and Burrard Marinas are not accepting requests for day moorage.

The Vancouver Aquarium, restaurants, food concession stands, and some washrooms are open in Stanley Park.
