Reminders on City Hall Hours and Parking Meters for Holiday Season and 2001

City Hall will close at 12 noon on Friday, December 22 to allow staff to spend additional time with their families over the holiday season. Normal operations will resume at 9 a.m., Wednesday, December 27.

City Hall will also be closed on Monday, January 1, 2001, which is New Year’s Day.

When City Hall is closed, regular emergency service telephone numbers will still be available:

• street maintenance, sewer and waterworks 323-7650
• street lights and traffic signals 871-6200.

Motorists are reminded that Vancouver’s parking meters will be in effect throughout the holiday season including Christmas, Boxing and New Year’s Day. Street parking is metered from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week. For more information, call Parking Enforcement at 257-8707.

The City of Vancouver encourages residents and visitors to celebrate safely during the holiday season.

We also remind City Hall patrons that, starting January 2, 2001, City Hall will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (instead of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
