The City of Vancouver reminds election candidates, and local print and electronic media, that election advertising is not allowed on voting day, which is November 16, 2002.

Section 124.1(2) of the Vancouver Charter states "On general voting day, a person must not conduct election advertising by publishing it in a newspaper or magazine or on radio or television."
