Advance Voting on the Olympic Question

The City of Vancouver will hold the Olympic Vote on Saturday February 22, 2003.
(Only eligible Vancouver voters can take part in this vote.)

For people unable to vote on February 22, the City has two advance voting opportunities:

February 12 and 18 (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
City Hall
453 West 12th Avenue.

To vote in advance you must sign a declaration stating your reasons. Here are some of the reasons for advance voting:

  • you expect to be out of town on February 22
  • you are unable to vote on February 22 due to reasons of conscience (e.g. religious beliefs) or circumstances beyond your control
  • physical disability or impaired mobility
  • you will be working on the Olympic Vote on February 22.

All eligible electors must register to take part in the Olympic Vote. You must show two pieces of identification (one with a signature on it) and complete and sign a registration form.
