Advance voting for Decision 2004: At-large or Wards plebiscite

The City of Vancouver will hold a plebiscite on Vancouver’s electoral system on Saturday, October 16, 2004. For people unable to vote on October 16, the City has two advance voting opportunities:

October 6 and 12 (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
City Hall
453 West 12th Avenue, Vancouver.

To vote in advance, you must sign a declaration stating your reasons. Here are some of the reasons for advance voting:

you will be absent from the city on October 16
you are unable to vote on October 16 due to reasons of conscience
you are unable to attend at the voting place on October 16 for reasons beyond your control
you have a physical disability or mobility impairment
you are an election official on October 16.

All eligible electors must register to take part in the Decision 2004 plebiscite. You must show two pieces of identification (one with a signature on it) and complete and sign a registration form. Only eligible Vancouver voters can take part in this vote.
