Information Session or Half-Day Workshop

Workshop Overview:

This one to three hour workshop has been designed to increase your knowledge of the City's policy on harassment and how the BC Human Rights Code defines “harassment”. The City of Vancouver believes that employees should be aware of their rights and responsibilities to work in a respectful, harassment-free workplace.

All City Employees

Foundation

What's In It For You?

To provide information on the City's expectation and legal responsibility regarding harassing behaviour;
To review the City's policy on harassment, including the protected grounds of discrimination under the BC Human Rights code;
To identify City resources available to staff regarding harassment – related concerns.

Special Features:

Sessions can be incorporated into regular staff meetings or crew talks. Length and times are flexible so as to accommodate various work schedules.
