This one to two hour workshop has been designed to increase participant's understanding of the City's commitment to a respectful, harassment-free workplace, including related policies and resources..
Audience:
Frontline/ Non-Supervisory Employees
Course Level:
Foundation
Key components include:
- To provide information on the City's commitment and legal responsibility regarding harassing behaviour
- To review the City's policy on Harassment and Human Rights and Respectful Workplace, including the protected grounds of discrimination under the BC Human Rights Code
- To identify City resources available to staff regarding harassment – related concerns
Special Features:
Sessions can be incorporated into regular staff meetings or crew talks. Length and times are flexible so as to accommodate various work schedules.

Delivered upon request to intact work groups.
